| MEMORIALS & CONTRIBUTIONS
Memorials are a special way to remember someone who has died. The generosity of family and friends who contribute to Hospice Chautauqua County provides important financial support to our mission. We are a charitable organization under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Service code and contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Be sure to tell us if we can provide information on planned giving, volunteering or suggest other ways to help.
Consider the following ways to leave a legacy in memory of a special person or loved one: A gift established by your will or living trust can establish a living legacy.
A gift of excess retirement funds, such as pension plans or Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) may allow you to give more, while eliminating taxes that may otherwise largely deplete these assets.
Gifts of life insurance that has fulfilled its original purpose may offer excellent tax benefits. Policies that you purchased to protect a loved one who no longer needs that protection can be an excellent way to make a gift in honor of that person.
Gifts that provide income can be a tax effective way to provide you and or someone else you designate with regular payments for life or other period of time. Check with us or your advisors for more information.
If such a legacy gift is possible, please call our office at (716) 753-5383 or email us for more information.
We routinely need financial and in-kind sponsors for events. Please call our Events Specialist at (716) 753-5383, ext. 215, to arrange a sponsorship.
Hospice Tree of Life, Hospice Bouquet Sale & Harleys for Hospice are events we organize to raise money to pay for our non-reimbursed services. In addition, community organizations sponsor fundraisers on our behalf, such as golf tournaments or 5K Runs. Visit our Events & Opportunities page for more information on how to participate.
In-kind contributions are an important source of support. Here are some items that we currently need:
